Melissa is the owner and lead luxury travel expert at Yaycations, who got her start in the travel industry in 2020. Prior to that, she worked as a management biologist for Ontario, where she managed large-scale data collection projects and conducted species-at-risk research. Since transitioning into travel, Melissa has quickly become a top seller for leading cruise lines, including AmaWaterways, Avalon Waterways, and Viking Cruises. Having traveled to over 30 countries, she brings firsthand experience and a deep expertise in all things cruising—particularly river cruises and luxury ocean voyages—working closely with the industry’s top cruise suppliers.

She talks, thinks, and dreams about travel, often spending her days researching dream-worthy destinations and crafting unforgettable experiences.
